Impinj M700-based label series

RFID technology company SML RFID announced on April 8 that it launched a label series based on Impinj M700 series chips, aimed at reducing the size and cost of RFID tags for retailers. The series currently has 6 labels, namely GB3, GB4, GB5, Maze, GB25 and GB18. These are full upgrades of all current major inlays of SML.

Advantages of Impinj M700 series chips

The Impinj M700 series of RFID tag chips provide high performance, fast inventory capabilities and advanced functions for the next generation of general-purpose RFID tags. The Impinj M700 series is a premium family that includes Impinj M730 and M750 tag chips The M730 chip has a 128-bit EPC, and the M750 has a 96-bit EPC and 32-bit user memory.

The new label series can be attached or embedded on almost any retail product in the world to integrate high-speed inventory counting and loss prevention solutions to achieve smooth self-checkout and seamless product returns and exchanges.

The Impinj M700 chip is much smaller than the previous chip, with it, SML will be able to provide customers with more cost-effective Inlay products. SML's unique Inlay antenna design has the characteristics of small size, robust material, high sensitivity and wide frequency band. These features are of great significance for wider industry applications outside of retail, and have been proven to be feasible.

In addition to the retail industry, inlays can also be used for electronics, food, supply chain management, pharmaceuticals, and the medical industry.
